MePhone is committed to protecting your privacy. We will only collect your personal information for defined purposes. We do not distribute or share your personal information beyond what is strictly necessary to fulfill our obligations to you. Beyond our control
We try to fix every device that comes in but sometimes there is damage that doesn't show itself until it's pulled apart. Please try to understand that sometimes, shock from being dropped so many times can cause components to have faults that only show up after dismantling the device. It may or may not be able to be fixed fully if the parts are not available. There will be no refund for parts ordered for the contracted repair, if you have paid and authorize us to change the part. It is our policy that parts must be paid for before ordering the part in for the repair and this part is now your property. You are authorizing us to fit your part.
Information Collection
When using our website to send an email to us, you will be requested to provide us with certain personally identifiable information which includes Name, email address, phone number and the service you require. The personal information you voluntarily provided will be used to fulfill your request, such as completing transaction, helping us provide better support and services to you.
Device PIN numbers
We will only ask for your pin number if its is required for deep testing of a fault. Your pin number will be destroyed and not stored on any computer or server during or after the repair is completed.
Repairs paid via phone
credit card number, credit card expiration date and CVV supplied over the phone will not be stored in anyway, either manually written down or stored on any computer or server belonging to us.

In order to better understand what services are valuable to our customers, we use "cookies". A cookie is a small text file that a Website writes to your hard drive. Cookies work as your identification card and may record passwords, preferences and purchases. Cookies let the web page server know that you have returned to this site. Screen repair and warranty is 6 month's from the date of the repair unless dropped, Bent, cracked, water damaged or opened by another repairer or the owner them self's after the repair. Warranty only covers faults with the parts replaced by mephone and no other faults with other parts mephone did not replaced. We also will not except responsibility for the standard of previous work by another repairer causing damage while the work we do is carried out. The glass is now being manufactured so strong that something else has to give and quite often thats the components below the glass.
Should you find a defect in the part, you must contact us within 14 days. MePhone is not responsible for the loss of information, pictures or any other data that may be lost during a repair. It is the responsibility of the customer or business to ensure they make regular back up's of their property. It is also the customer’s responsibility to save usernames and passwords or update email addresses for the recovery of lost usernames or passwords or any account information or backups.
We cannot be held responsible for any damage caused prior to the device being given to us for repair by the owner or any other business or repairer or customers opening the phone after or before a repair we carry out . We reserve the right to use a copy screen and will also provide 6 month's warranty if within our policy. Mephone reserves the right to change our policy without notification or warning. it is our policy to be honest and trust worthy to all customers, friends, family and loved ones.
How to prevent the problems below not covered by warranty:
1. A good quality case that covers and protects the front, sides and back of the phone 2. Do not place the phone in your back trouser pocket as it may fall in the toilet as well as bend or crack. No shirt top pockets3. Keeping a firm grip on the phone and dont throw it4. Never take your phone in the shower due to condensation
Please Note the signs of being dropped or having impact damage that's not covered. The glass does not need to be broken to show this damage:
1. Bleeding in the LCD.2. Lines appearing in image of the LCD or Oled.3. Colour change, either red, blue or green tint (primary colours) 4. Opening apps without touching the screen ( this is refered to as Ghost Touching)*5. Black screen, even if the phone is still working (This can also be whats called the black screen of death and can be fixed by a soft reset).6. only part of the screen having touch function.
If you damage your tempered glass protector and the screen is still working, you can return for a replacement at an affordable cost. Genuine means all original Refurb means original OLED or LCD with replacement glass. Aftermarket means a premium quality product, and it's customized for the Australian repair market. (May not perform the same as an original or refurb and maybe slower to respond in PRO iphone's) FOG Means original glass.
